Faith Baptist Aviation Ministry Team

We are excited about the future of the ministry, and part of that excitement is because of the interest within the Church Family! Any ministry of the Church is only as effective as the involvement and faithfulness of the Lord's people. In our case, in accordance with the scriptural principal laid out in 2 Tim. 2:1-2, we have four people who have committed themselves to Faith Baptist Aviation Ministry, to use their talents to fly the airplanes and administer the Ministry for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Three of these folks are in the process of learning to fly, which is a major undertaking. Our goal is to have them trained and licensed as private pilots by the close of 2008. One Brother already has his license, and is looking forward to advanced training to be able to fly the airplane under instrument conditions. The Spokane team members are shown in the picture heading of this page.
- Bro. James Watt
- I am currently the director and Chief Pilot/Instructor of the Ministry. It is with great joy that we present this team to you, as we desire this ministry to continue on until Jesus comes. Any ministry that is totally dependent on one person will suffer or fail when that person is unable to fill their responsibilities. We don't want that to happen with this ministry. I am presently 76, and in good health. I have the ability to train these folks, and feel like a buzz saw going through a red oak log, but before my age becomes a hindrance, I want to have a team in place. As soon as it is, I'll continue to help them as long as our wonderful Lord permits.
- Hilary Mohler
- This Godly woman has volunteered her services to be the ministry Secretary, and is currently working toward obtaining her private license. Her goal is to continue her training and prepare for a very unique part of the ministry — teaching the Missionaries' wives and children to fly in a support role. This will provide a backup in case of emergencies, where they could safely land the airplane, in addition to helping in the ongoing ministry. We have done this in the past (Our Pinch-Hitter course), but Hilary has the talent and desire to be a blessing to other women. God has impressed our heart that this is a special ministry God has given her, and we are blessed to have her as part of this team!
- Jeff James
- Bro. Jeff is a spiritual young man in Faith Baptist who has great potential for the Lord's Work. He is a faithful, dedicated man who is working to obtain his private pilot's license. His plans also include preparing himself with all of the advanced ratings needed to be an instructor for the Ministry. He is blessed of the Lord with leadership ability, and currently heads up the youth ministry of the church. With these credentials, he is presently training to be our new director, and will head up the ministry in the future.
- Bro. Ray Judd
- Bro. Ray recently moved from Illinois to Spokane, and is already a licensed private pilot. He is greatly interested in the ministry, and has been a great encouragement to Bro. Mohler and myself concerning the ministry in general, and the aviation ministry in particular. I am looking forward to working with him as he prepares himself for advanced training in instrument flight, and then training to be an instructor in the ministry!
- Bro. Buddy Mohler
- Bro. Buddy is a dedicated young man in the church who leads the music ministry, and is a man who has proved his devotion by his actions. He is busy for the Lord, so learning to fly by the end of 2008 is a challenge. After 50 years of pastoring, I am well aware that God always uses the busy folks to labor for Him. I praise the Lord that Bro. Buddy is a part of our team!
