Beech Debonair
This airplane is the third airplane to be added to our fleet and was a gracious gift from Doctor Mike Reid, who lives and practices in Springfield, Missouri. He heard of our aviation ministry and expressed a desire to further the cause of missions by giving this airplane to our ministry. We are grateful for his concern and his generosity. Dr. Reid has maintained the aircraft well.
Like the Piper Arrow is a complex aircraft by designation with retractable landing gear and controllable pitch propeller. It is well suited to cross country flights and/or instrument training as the instruments and the radios have been recently updated and the airplane is Instrument Flight Rated (IFR) certified. This airplane is about 15 MPH faster than the Arrow and thus is ideal for the longer trips as they arise. The engine times on this craft are also low (450 hours), and like the Arrow, this engine is rated at 2000 hours between required overhauls.
