Piper Arrow
This airplane was the second airplane to be added to our ministry. It is a model PA28R, and because of its 145 MPH top speed, it has become the airplane of choice for long cross country flights. This airplane is in excellent condition, is well maintained, and is a joy to fly. Because of the fact that it is a complex aircraft by designation with retractable landing gear and controllable pitch propeller, it is a perfect ship to be used for advanced training in our ministry with missionaries and pastors who are in need of this particular type of training. The airplane is fully instrument certified and thus adds the dimension of instrument training to our program as well as providing an all weather airplane for the use of the ministry in other areas.
Like our Cessna 172, this airplane is an attractive, well-kept machine, and was so before we owned it. The engine time is 500 hours with the outlook of many more hours to fly before the necessary overhaul, being rated at 2000 hours between required overhauls. We are glad to have this airplane in the fleet because it enables us to be versatile with both a training aircraft and a cross country airplane available at the same time if the need arises.
